During my stay in Villa Serrana in Uruguay (March 2024), I was told by the hotel manager that the area was known for these deer (known there as Guazubirá). I set out to find them, but after a few hours I was ready to give up. On my way back I was typing messages to a friend, and when I looked up, this one was staring right at me.
